Recipe for Cauliflower Wings with Curry Tomato Dip
Ingredients
Cauliflower Marinade
- 100ml almond milk
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp paprika powder, curry, cumin & salt
- 1 head cauliflower, in small florets
- 60g almonds, slivered
Curry Tomato Dip
- 80g tomato paste
- 100ml strained tomatoes
- 60g applesauce
- ½ tsp curry, cumin, salt & pepper
Preparation
- Mix the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the cauliflower florets in it for 20 minutes.
- Bake the cauliflower on a baking sheet for 35-40 minutes at 180°C.
- After 20 minutes of baking time, turn the cauliflower florets and sprinkle with slivered almonds.
- For the curry tomato dip, mix all ingredients, simmer over low heat for 10 minutes and chill.
- Enjoy the cauliflower warm, preferably immediately, with the cool curry tomato dip.
